Gunns defendant wins film award
Heidi Douglas, one of the defendants currently being sued by Gunns Ltd for campaigning for the protection of Tasmania’s old growth forests, has just been awarded the Katherine Knight Award in the category of Forests, at the Earthvision International Environmental Film Festival. Her inspiring film is called "Tasmania's Forests: A Global Treasure, A National Responsibility" and was produced by the Wilderness Society. [More | Watch Video]
